looking for prints?
I’m currently looking at and considering various online print-on-demand services to provide prints–for clients, myself, and anyone else that’s interested. I’m leaning towards Imagekind and Shutterfly, among others. Probably both. In the meantime, if you happened to have spied something of mine you like, either in real-life, or online, feel free to contact me directly, either here on the site or via e-mail, and I can arrange to have the photo in question professionally printed.
Be sure to let me know what size you want: 5 x 7, 8 x 10, 11 x 14, etc., and the quality of paper you would like it printed on—archive-quality ink-jet paper, standard ink-jet photo paper, etc. I’ll then get back to you with a price, and we’ll proceed from there. Right now, seeing as how I’m just starting out at this, I’m negotiable—to a point. If you wish to have it matted and framed, I can arrange that too. And don’t worry, I won’t be doing the matting and framing myself – if you came to my first showing, then you know cutting mat board is a skill at which plainly suck, to put it bluntly, so unlike the photography, I’ll leave that to the experts.
Don’t see the print you saw at the show here or on Flickr? Describe it to me; there’s only a few I haven’t gotten uploaded to Flickr yet. Speaking of which, we can make arrangements for you to make prints through Flickr, too.
Yes, I know; this isn’t terribly professional, but I make no claims to be a pro photographer, at least not yet. Outside of newspaper and magazine assignments, I’ve sold a grand total of one two prints (one was on the first day my stuff went on display!) so help me out and make it two three.
